If you’re looking for an easy camping meal or something to cook out on your back patio, these Spicy Chinese Beef Kabobs will hit the spot. The tabasco sauce brings just enough kick to keep things interesting for this otherwise classic kabob recipe.
For extra flavor, try adding your favorite veggies to the skewer like bell peppers or onions.
- 2 lbs. sirloin steak (cut into thin strips)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbs sugar
- 2 tbs dried onion
- 1 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger root
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbs cooking oil
- 1 tsp tabasco sauce
- 1 clove minced garlic
Mix all ingredients except the steak in a bag. Slice the steak if you have not already, then place in the bag to marinate for 2 hours.
During the last 30 minutes of marination, soak the wooden skewers in water.
Preheat your grill or grill box to medium or medium-hight heat. Thread each strip of steak onto the skewers lengthwise, then set on the grill. Cook for about 10 minutes (or according to your preference), turning occasionally to sear all sides.
Serve hot, and enjoy!
