When you take a classic recipe like macaroni and cheese, then combine it with a pellet grill, there’s no going wrong. Try out our Smoked Bacon Mac N Cheese recipe for a great weeknight dinner on the back patio. It’s fast, easy, and tastes amazing. Plus, it gives you another excuse to fire up your favorite grill or smoker.
- 16 oz large elbow macaroni or penne pasta, cooked
- 6 slices of smoked bacon, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups Mexican blend cheese, shredded
- 5 oz 3-cheese blend cheese, shredded
- 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbs salt
- 2 tbs pepper
- 1 cup crushed corn flakes
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 3/4 stick butter, about 9 1/4-inch pats

Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions, and mix together with bacon and all the cheeses. In another bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, salt, and pepper together. Combine this mixture with the noodles and cheese in a prepared cast iron pan. If you’re worried about the noodles sticking, spray the pan ahead of time.
Combine crushed corn flakes and bread crumbs together, then spread them over the top of the macaroni until it is completely covered. On top of the crumb mixture, place pats of butter.
Smoke in your pellet grill or smoker for about an hour. Serve hot. You’re going to love the results!
