Meet Colleen Sloan, known to many as The First Lady of Cast Iron Cooking. A huge supporter of the outdoor cooking world, Colleen travels all over the United States cooking her famous recipes and spreading the word that "everything tastes better when it is cooked outdoors!"
Here at Outdoor Cooking we have enjoyed Colleen's stories, recipes and experiences first hand and would like to share them with our customers. We will be following Colleen's whereabouts and posting her best recipes here at Colleen's Corner. We hope that you will enjoy her life story (and mouthwater recipes) as much as we have.

Spirit of the West Festival in Sioux Falls, SD. I won't actually be able to make this festival but wanted to let you know about it. Bill, Jeanne and Cassandra put on a three day show that you absolutely do not want to miss. Enjoy wester theatre, quick draw shooting contests, old town displays, D.O. contests, chuck wagon singing, and entertainment galore. The west really comes alive.
