Love my BGG Review by Grrrrilla

I use it at home as well as camping. I ordered an additional shelf for the left side. That gives me more storage space while I'm cooking. The 2-burner griddle is worth its weight in gold...can cook just about anything on it and it is easy to clean. Things are a bit heavy but we car camp anyway. I cooked hot dogs for 40 people at my office and it worked great. (Posted on 5/31/12)

We use it for camping, tailgating and even in my catering business to do small jobs. Have every accessory available including burner ignitors. They work about 60-70% of the time. But then again , show me an ignitor that works every time. I do like the stove knobs on the newer models better than the ones from 2 yrs. ago. Am in the process of changing out the galvanized bottom plate with a piece of thin stainless plate. Love it, love it, love it!!!!!! St (Posted on 5/31/12)

Yes Yes Yes. I have always believed charcoal to be better THIS grill proved me wrong. The best steaks I have ever cooked. Restaurant Quality Steaks in minutes and so fast with the heat this grill puts out.

Love It.

No issues with hot spots Review by Jake

I had never cooked with a "grill box" before until I bought this grill from outdoorcooking.com. The grill box has some metal heat deflector plates under the cast iron grates. I have to admit, this method really does allow for even heating. I had no issues with hot spots. Perfect!!! (Posted on 5/31/12)

2nd Big Gas Grill Review by Painter 97

This is my 2nd Camp Chef Big Gas Grill. The 1st had for several years, as parts of the grill wore out, I replaced them until the replacements had been replaced over again. Still works good, but when the grill box started to fall apart knew time for another grill. Never in all my years of grilling have I ever bought the same grill a second time, but there was never any doubt about type or make of grill I was going to purchase. You can feed a small army (and when we go camping there are two families and from our two families we now have 7 families) with this grill and no problems doing so. This one has the matchless ignition system and I like that, but that was not a big selling point for me, knowing what this grill is capable of made me a repeat customer. By the way, No.1 is being used at our church for the Saturday Morning breakfasts. Do not need a grill box for that. One burner for grits and the griddle covers the other two and does not take long to be able to feed that crowd. So one for the backyard cookouts and camping and one to feed some hungry Baptists. Can not go wrong with the Big Gas Grill (Posted on 5/31/12)

I bought my BGG 3 off of [...] 2 years ago from a guy that bought it for tailgating at collage football games. It was already 5 years old and in good shape. I am also a Boy Scout leader and the first time I took my BGG 3 on a campout everyone loved it. 3 meals a day for 40 people was a breeze. Our troop has since purchased a new BGG 3 and a griddle plate. I am going to pass on my BGG 3 to my son and ask for a new one for my 50th birthday this month. (Posted on 5/31/12)
