per page- Big Agnes Long Pad Review by Joe
-
I am Boy Scout leader with 20+ yrs camping experience. I bought one of these pads on sale in an Outdoor outfitter when I visited Seattle. This pad is comfortable and lightweight. HOWEVER, it is slow and difficult to inflate. Mainly this is one NOISY pad. If you move a lot in your sleep this IS NOT the pad for you. Your camping friends will not like you in the morning. I made a sleeve out of a fleece blanket and that helps a lot. I have found this best used at Boy Scout Summer Camp with the surplus military cots they now use. There is no insulation with this pad and I would strongly advise against using this in the winter. (Posted on 5/31/12)Rating
